This Fee Policy governs all fees assessed by The Schola, operated by Veritaum LLC.

All fees are final. We offer three options, each with a clearly defined purpose and fee structure:

• Submit (manuscript submission): This option allows you to submit your manuscript for editorial consideration. The submission fee is $180.00 and is non-refundable. This non-refundability is stated clearly in “Before Submission” and reiterated in the submission workflow. The fee covers the editorial costs involved in evaluating your manuscript; it is not a charge for publication. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that the editorial process is initiated upon payment and that you waive any applicable right of withdrawal upon commencement.
• Subscribe (journal subscription): This option grants access to the three most recent volumes for the duration of the subscription period. The subscription fee is $120.00 and is non-refundable. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that access begins immediately and that you waive any applicable right of withdrawal upon activation.
• Subscribe & Submit (combined submission and subscription): This option includes both a manuscript submission and a journal subscription. The combined fee is $250.00 and is non-refundable. This non-refundability is stated clearly in “Before Submission” and reiterated in the submission workflow. The fee covers the editorial costs involved in evaluating your manuscript; it is not a charge for publication. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that subscription access begins immediately, that editorial process is initiated upon payment, and that you waive any applicable right of withdrawal upon commencement of either.

The Schola evaluates all submissions solely on the basis of scholarly merit. The submission fee bears no relation to the editorial decision.
